Tideborn Command

★★★★☆ 4.4 Editor rating

Most strategy games feel cramped on a phone, but Tideborn Command was clearly designed for it. Units respond to taps and drags cleanly, and the maps are sized so you rarely lose track of your fleet.

You manage naval bases, balance resources, and push toward enemy islands. The difficulty ramps up nicely, and there's a decent skirmish mode when you don't feel like the campaign.

It asks for a bit of focus, so it's less of a waiting-room game. But if you sit down with it, the pacing rewards planning over spam-tapping.
